There are many international speakers and events that come to Berkeley. It’s tough to keep track of them all, but here are the most active event listings relevant to international policy at Cal.

  • Institute for International Studies (IIS) – They consistently bring around interesting speakers from all sorts of backgrounds, and of all the lists to be on this one will be most interesting and unpredictable. Also, at the beginning of the academic year they usually host an open house so you can learn about current research projects and get involved on them if you wish.

    – To join the list email: iis@globetrotter.berkeley.edu

  • International House – Located next to the stadium at the high side of campus, I-House offers both formal talks and a whole bunch of smaller social events. The cafe’s a nice place to meet folks too. (I know several of you live there, so where are the invites, yo?).
